Sea of Galilee: The largest freshwater lake in Israel. The Sea of Galilee is the lowest sweet sea in the world and is about an hour’s drive from our accommodation complex. One of the most sacred places in Israel, many pilgrims come to visit it.
Monfort Lake – Israel’s first ecological park, located in the heart of the Western Galilee, surrounded by lawns and activity facilities, which attracts visitors from all over the country and the world. Surrounded by many grassy areas and islands between which are water channels and shady corners. Apart from the lake, there is a semi-Olympic ice skating rink, a karting track, a sports hall, a summer swimming pool, an oil and olive heritage visitor center, a kayak and pedal cruise, an extreme park and a group and family camping site. Every year (since 1991), the Ibn Galilee International Sculpture Festival has been held at the lake compound since 1991, and at the Mohammed Sukkot Taste Festival in the Galilee.
Live Lake: In Kibbutz Yaron, about 40 minutes drive from our accommodation complex, between nature reserves, woods and plantations, there is a natural and magical lake surrounded by a recreation and recreation area. The place serves as a tourism and recreation site for the whole family as a center for educational activities with animals for children of all ages as a rehabilitation place for animals in need of special care as well as a rehabilitation place for children and people with special needs as well as a meeting place for special activities, for family events and groups. In the lake a large variety of animals an expansive area of lawns, tables and plenty of shade. Playground equipment, inflatable, challenging rope facility for children. In the lake it is possible to rent a pedal boat for a relaxed family cruise between the ducks, the possibility to feed the animals. A circular path around the lake, an organic vegetable garden. There is also a pizzeria and yogurt shop
